Proposed Rules
for Reservoir Dogs! Park
Welcome to Reservoir Dogs! Park

NO ATTENDANT ON
DUTY: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Owners/handlers
are legally and financially responsible for their dog’s behavior
at all times. The Borough of Phoenixville will not be held liable
for any injury or damage caused by any dog on municipal property
or to any person within the park. Prevent injuries by supervising
your dog closely at all times. This area is for dogs and their
owners/handlers only

If a dog becomes
aggressive, it must be removed from the park immediately. Use
the Time-Out Gates in the back of the enclosures to exit Reservoir
Dogs! Park quickly if your dog is misbehaving. Dogs known to be
aggressive towards other dogs or people (or exhibiting any
threatening behavior) may not enter Reservoir Dogs! Park.

No food, treats
or toys (human or dog) allowed in the dog park.

Puppies under
four months old are not permitted in the park.

Children MUST be
taller than Duke to enter the Large Dog Enclosure and taller than
Macintyre to enter the Small Dog Enclosure. Children shorter than
these dogs are not permitted inside Reservoir Dogs! Park. An
attending adult must closely supervise all children in and around
Reservoir Dogs! Park. For their own safety, do not bring small
children to Reservoir Dogs! Park.

Owners/handlers
must be present with their dog(s) and have them under visual and
voice control at all times.

Dogs must be
leashed when exiting or entering Reservoir Dogs! Park.
Owners/handlers must have a leash in hand at all times while in
Reservoir Dogs! Park.

No more than
three dogs per owner/handler are permitted in the dog park at one
time. Owner/handler must be a responsible adult, 18 years of age
or older.

All dogs must be
spayed or neutered
-
Dog waste must be
cleaned up by the owner/handler and placed in the proper
receptacles.

All dogs must be
legally licensed and vaccinated. Owners/handlers must provide
proper documentation upon request or their dog(s) must display
current tags.

Owners/handlers
must immediately fill in any holes dug by their dog(s).
-
Dogs in heat, ill
and/or with internal or external parasites (fleas, ticks, worms)
are not permitted in the park.

Remove any prong
or spiked collars from your dog before entering Reservoir Dogs!
Park

First time dog park users should consider
visiting the park during non-peak times.
